The wedding will take place at Grødem outside Stavanger. Stavanger is on the southwest coast of Norway approx 550 km from Oslo - consider a day's journey if you're flying in to Oslo first. There are cheap train tickets on www.nsb.no, or flights on www.norwegian.no, train takes around 7 hours from Oslo to Stavanger, and flight is around 40 min. You can also travel by bus.
The nearest airport is Sola Airport.
The nearest city is Stavanger, this is where you will be looking for hotel as there aren't many places to stay around where the wedding is being held.

Ceremony starts at 12pm at Randaberg church, there's a google map here. The church is situated in the town of Randaberg, on the town square.
The reception is to be held at 3.30 pm to midnight on Grødem family's farm on Grødem. Grødem is situated somewhat halfway between Randaberg and Stavanger, map here
Weather
The weather on the southwest coast of Norway can be pretty unpredictable, but judging by statistics, the temperature will be around 15-20 degree Celcius, oftentimes more in the middle of the day if sunny. Usually the weather is very pretty around end of May.
We will have heating in the tent at night, plus the tent will have proper floorboards, but as it might get a bit chilly still, we recommend you bring some warm clothes as well (handy tip: anything light wool under clothes works wonders, and feel free to put on thick socks and don the cold shoes if necessary). We will provide blankets (and plenty of candles). But having ninety people crowded in a tent lit with candles and with heaters, might provide enough heat in itself ... :)
Entertainment
We will have the dinner at 3.30 pm to 6pm approximately, and as this is a very early dinner, there will also be served tapas and finger food later in the evening. The dinner is followed by a party where more guests are invited, from approx 7pm. If you would like to participate with anything during this party (it's common in Norway for guests to do speeches, sing, do games etc. if guests want to), please contact our toastmaster directly: hildemerethe79@hotmail.com.

FRIDAY:
Informal party with all wedding guests (young crowd...) at Bøker og Børst at 7.30 pm
SATURDAY:
12pm: Ceremony in Randaberg church
1.30 pm to 3.30 pm: Vin d'honneur for all the guests in the garden at Grødem - light snack, drinks and music.
4.00 pm: Dinner, three course meal
7.30 pm: After Party with speeches, entertainment, cakes and coffee etc etc
Midnight: Nightie-night!
SUNDAY:
Wedding brunch for all invited guests, in the garden at 1.30pm If you would like to stay with friends of ours, let us know by April 20th. NB: First come, first serve ... :)
If you have any allergies regarding food, let us know by April 20th.
Dress code
1950's/vintage (optional), informal evening wear (no tailcoats)
Regarding photos
Please do not use flash as it might interfere with our photographer. Please also consider discretion if publishing photos from our wedding on Facebook or other social medias - not everyone likes to have their picture published on the net! (and we don't like the idea of having a gizillion of them spread on the net, either ... but please feel free, just be wise - you get the idea).
